Please let the Halloween and Winter Event as they where: so new players have the chance to craft the same gears as it was in 2018.

 

But then we would provide very little to the players who participated a lot last time, and that group has self-selected as being the event's biggest fans.

 

Na... the "old" players still have the incentive to buy chests with e.g. winter points - just increase the leg drop rate for such chests!

One easy way to solve the issue: just make it possible that during events the old items are craftable too aside the new ones... problem solved use the same mats and the players can switch/choose WHICH item they wanna craft

 

This is why I keep supporting the celeste project. From a small team of volunteers, I would generally expect little, yet the celeste team constantly over-delivers.

 

IMO, it's better to let the "old stuffs events" available in the shops, so newcomers or people who missed the events can eventually buy these items. I missed these items.
For the players who already got the old items, they will focus on the new ones.

Maybe you should add a "trading system". A player, who has already the old items, can help and send the old items to his friends who missed them last year.
Or maybe you can add some "Coop Event" for getting "old items". For the hardcore AOE gamers, it will be a challenge to help a random player to get the old items.

As for The exclusive Events Gears. Bringing back Old event items will be a huge deal breaker imo.

Those items are so valuable because they are Event exclusive items. Which means that you should not be able to get them once the event is over.

I cannot speak for Halloween event, since I missed it completely, but during Winter Event many people paid some Arctic Furs Stacks for Crazy prices (50-60k Each) because it was supposed to be the only chance to get those items. If Devs bring them back, it would be a deal breaker.

As for newcomers, they can still enjoy New Events Gear and even buy the old event Gear if they like it so much. That is what I did with Zahaak Swords (Halloween Event exclusive Item).

 

There are 2 already ... Trade Channel and GMP you buy in either

 

• I got a few zahlak left, i would sell for 750k each.
• I know also, that there re some players, having alot zahlaks on their inventory. In my eyes there is zero problem to get zahlak, look gm there re always some.
• The point is: if u want it, you need to pay for it, simple said.

The only point i am interested for halloween event is atm.:
The materials like blackwood / emerald etc. will be same or will get replaced?!
I hope will be same, cuz i have managed to save some of them.

"Gear Reforge" now this sounds intresting, what do you mean with this?

What I hope you mean is that it will be a way to reforge crafted items that got nerfed and a chance to improve them, especially due to the new legendary items that cost silly much to do and is almost a complete waste if it gets all from base to nerfed. I've done about 7 Runics and as many Aegean contracts, and I got only one good boosted runic and a couple near base, rest was nerfed, and the aegean was all nerfed but one that was base. It's so silly silly much resourses on crap, and a way to put some extra resourses into them to improve them would be very appriciated - no matter if cost is more materials, coins or EP.
