Hello there Celeste players! Our servers have been running for over 4 years now, and we have added a lot of new content during this time. I would like to give you an insight into the statistics of the last 2 years.
Player StatisticsLet's take a look at the player stats. Here we see the number of unique players:
================
Why so many spikes? Well, during the week there are many players online, especially on weekends, while during the week there are fewer. For a better overview, the 7-day average is useful here:
We see an increase in the number of players mainly in the periods of events: Winter-, Halloween- and Summer-Events. A special case of what the entire gaming industry felt was the period from April to May 2020. I wonder what happened there? *cough* *cough*
Also clearly visible is the release of the Romans, which doubled the number of daily unique players. You can also read out that we always have a core player base of 700 players. Here you can see the monthly statistics:
It's nice to see that we have 3000-4000 players per month. This statistic also better captures casual players who don't play every day.
Quest StatisticsYou have completed many quests, a lot of them! In the last 2 years, a total of 4,487,536 quests were completed including global ones. Here are some highlights:
================
Trade StatisticsAn essential component in AOEO is trading. We have some information about what was traded in the last few years (only direct trades, no GM). Epic materials account for the largest volume of trade. With the introduction of long-lasting recipes, this is not surprising, as demand is naturally very high. Here are the highlights per type:
===============
Much more interesting, however, is what gear was traded. The most traded item in the last 2 years is... I won't tell yet! The first person who guesses right in the comments will win a MAG.
Here are some further trade highlights, including trades with MAGs and Gerdas to satisfy the meme lords:
To sum it up: A total of 2583 unique items were traded with a total volume of 515300 items/stacks. A random smooth number. While this number does not include the global marketplace or mail trading, I believe these statistics are representative.
What do you think about the statistics? Let us know in the comments below!
