It's not a bug, but with new stacks sizes the prices for common materials (copper, pine, etc.) got wrong in Tarsos. It should be 0,75G/each, not 1G/each. So stack of 1500 pieces should be 1125G, now it is 1500G.

The other prices are correct. 2G/each for uncommon and 3G/each for rare materials.

I had a look and it appears that the prices are not incorrect. The old list was 1000g for 1000 materials, now it is 1500g for 1500 materials.

But in the other stores, eg. in the general store in the main city, one piece of common material (eg. copper) costs 0,75G. In Tarsos 1G (1000 pieces = 1000G).

For the other materials (uncommon and rare) it makes no difference where to buy. The costs are in every store, including Tarsos, the same. For example: bronze 2G, garnets 3G, spices 12G/each.
So only the prices for uncommon materials are higher in the Tarsos store than in other stores.

If it was the same, before we got the new (fantastic) stack sizes, it could be an old failure that common mats in Tarsos are more expensive - or was it a consciously decision?

The amounts of uncommon/rare goods you need generally either aren't that high - Consumables, buildings, ect only require very low amounts of them. This was also reflected in the original stack sizes - You could buy a stack of rare materials with 25 clicks.

You needed 50, and now 75 clicks to buy a stack of common materials. Or a single click at somewhat higher cost.

So that 25% extra is the QoL cost for you to not acquire carpel tunnel.

I think the logic makes sense, although typically buying in bulk implies a discount.
