    Age Of Empires Online Celeste Fan Project will undergo planned server maintenance on the 3rd of April 2021.
    12:00 UTC (14:00 CEST): The server will stop responding to login requests, meaning you will not be able to log on from this time.
    13:00 UTC (15:00 CEST): Start of maintenance.
    13:30 UTC (15:30 CEST): Expected end of maintenance.

    • Balance Changes:
      • Roman Eques: Training Time reduced to 18.5s, from 19s
      • Roman Centurion: Baseline Melee-infantry Armor increased to 0.20, from 0.00.
      • Roman Scorpio: Hitpoints increased to 190, from 150. Bonus Multiplier vs Ranged increased to x1.5, from x1.25. Bonus Multiplier vs Infantry increased to x1.75, from x1.25. Melee-Infantry Armor increased to 0.20, from 0.00. Training Time reduced to 21s, from 25s. Trackrating increased to 21, from 14 (Meaning they are less likely to miss moving targets).     • Bugfixes:
      • Fixed the tooltip for Halloween Rare Materials (Meteoric Iron, Darkwood) to properly indicate their stack size of 10,000
      • Fixed a display issue for some Material stack size tooltips in the French language.
      • Fixed the unit spawns for the Roman civilization in "Good Ol' Peepaw".
      • Fixed a display issue for the "Sack of Empire Points" item that incorrectly showed its maximum stack size as 5,000. (It should be 20,000)
      • Fixed a display issue for the secondary objective of the quest "Fabii, You're A Rich Man!".
      • Fixed an issue where Chief Vemundr incorrectly increased War Dogs' health by +350%, instead of the intended +300%.
      • Fixed a display issue for Roman Walls where they would not have a proper Death animation.
      • Fixed an issue with the Roman upgrade "Roma Invicta" where it incorrectly increased Officer units' Bonus Damage vs Priests by +100%, instead of the intended +25%.
      • Fixed some minor issues with the City of Rome map.
      • Fixed a display issue in the Age of Empires Online Store where "Ornate Ornaments" and "Bountiful Bushes" had incorrect icons. (Swapped)
      • Fixed an issue in the quest "Grab That Stone!" where the Romans were able to build Praetoriums.
      • Fixed an exploit with Celtic Sacred Deer that allowed players to block the enemy AI from moving forward by blocking them using the Deer.
      • Fixed a display issue in the quest "Rallying at the Temples" for "Temples of Troy".

    • Roman Campaign:
      • Not Safe For Work: Fixed an issue with the quest's timer which made it fail the quest every time.
        • (Developer Note: Make sure to abandon the quest and accept it again from the quest giver before retrying this quest.)

    • Celtic Invasion of Rome:
      • Legendary: Come Together: Fixed an issue where the "Enemies Defeated" objective would trigger before intended time.

    • Art Updates:
      • Updated the animations of the Roman Aquilifer and Engineers. Changed the color of the Roman Aquilifer's Aura to better indicate that it is a Damage buff, not a Health buff.
      • Updated the entire collection of Legendary items. From now on, every legendary item has its own unique icon so that it's easier to recognize.
      • Changed the icon and in-game model of Gladius of Bellerophon for increased historical accuracy and to match its in-game name.
      • Changed the icon of Perseus' Lightning-Struck Makhaira to match its in-game name. The in-game model will be updated in a future patch.

      • Greeks:
        • Guard Tower: Stone Cost reduced to 50, from 100. Wood Cost increased to 100, from 50.
        • Ballista: DPS increased to 27, from 21. Bonus vs Buildings reduced to 2.0x, from 2.5x. Wood Cost reduced to 280, from 300. Gold Cost reduced to 140, from 160. Training Time reduced to 27s, from 30s.
      • Egyptians:
        • Catapult: DPS increased to 30, from 24. Bonus vs Buildings reduced to 2.0x, from 2.5x. Wood Cost reduced to 320, from 350. Gold Cost reduced to 180, from 200. Training Time reduced to 32s, from 36s.
      • Celts:

    • Updated the Champion Mode Website to the latest build.
    • UI Updates:

    • Other Updates:
      • Added a new Quest to track the "General Zu's Glory Days" Questline Completion for the Quest Line Progress Interface.
      • Made some adjustments to some Alliance Gears. Upgraded two Rare items from each Alliance to Legendary status. Previous items will not be affected, but you can buy the new items in the respective Alliance's store again to get the new look and name and legendary rarity status.
      • Reduced the collision box sizes for Roman Decurions, Aquilifers and Primus Pilus to allow for slightly better pathing.
      • Merged the two "Babylon" and "Persia" buttons on the World Map into a unified "Mesopotamia" button.
      • Changed the lighting set of the Sparta PvP Region to "Sunset", from "Night".

    • XLive Changes:
      • Fixed an issue preventing multiplayer games from launching on the same local network which happens if you have multiple virtual adapters as a result of installing either WSL, Docker, VMWare, or a VPN.

    • Backend Changes:
      • Made some adjustments to reduce the amount of downtime during patches.
      • Did some memory work to make the server smoother and more responsive.

    We have discovered some issues (something regarding a BOM that needs to be removed) that prevents a lot of quests to load properly. We have to take the system offline and do a quick patch. Logins have been disabled and the system will go offline 30 minutes.
