Roman eques and legionary shield visual bug

I've been trying to equip the eques with different shields but none of them give the unit the round(or oval) roman shield like shown in the developer update. They always get the generic shield model from the original game.
The legionary gets the proper shield model but without any additional color, so it's completely black, gold or silver depending on rarity.
The shields of centurions and decurions seem to work fine.
