msvcp140.dll is missing! Help!

    It say that msvcp140.dll i missing and i cant start the game. Help please :(

    Download the file acording to your system:
    - 32-Bit -> 32-Bit File
    - 64-Bit -> 32 + 64 Bit File

    Extract the .dll File from the downloaded Zip-File/s.

    Copy/Paste the file/s into the designated folder:

    32-Bit Windows:

    - 32-Bit Version -> C:\Windows\System32

    64-Bit Windows:

    - 32-Bit Version -> C:\Windows\SysWOW64
    - 64-Bit Version -> C:\Windows\System32

    This is an old thread, also, I dont recommend just copying a DLL. Instead, you can install the associated prerequisite.

    It is Microsoft Visual C++. Try to download another year version (Maybe 2010 or less).

    If you have problems with msvcp140.dll it, you need to update all the C ++ libraries, but before that you need to delete all the old.May occur due to improper loading of windows or updating drivers Short guides where you can download them and how to install here -

    msvcp140.dll belongs to Microsoft Visual C++ 2015, downloading a DLL can be bad, one, it could be tampered with, two, it needs the whole package for it to run right...
    The link to Majorgeeks site that NCSGeek linked, will install all versions of C++ runtimes.. or install https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=48145
