Co-op requests don't show up in Egyptian city only

Hi,
I am encountering a bothersome glitch that prevents me from accepting coop requests while in my Egyptian city (and only in my Egyptian city, the other five civilisations work fine). The thing is that requests simply never show up in the LFG thread, while "Connecting to Channel XXX" and friend activity notifications properly appear.

I don't know if the glitch is related to another: the Trade chat that is cleared when switching tabs. Maybe I accidentally tampered with the chat options by misclicking or something.

Does anyone also encounter (or have encountered) this glitch? I may post a picture of the glitch, as well as my PC specs, if it can be of help.
