Whipped this up last night. A guide to how I use control groups and a bit of an explanation as to why, or what you should try look at minmaxing when using your own layout. Not the be all-end all way to play, but reasonably efficient, and going to be very effective for people coming from the starcrafts especially, I think.

Thanks for the video. Looks like I need to make some changes to my hotkeys, I can see I've been using some inefficient key mappings.

Some constructive feedback, would appreciate it if you increase the input volume from your microphone.

You have a strong tendency to drop off at the end of your sentences, which combined with the fact that you're a fast talker often makes it hard to hear the last 2 or 3 words. I have all of my sound settings set to 100%, including the youtube slider, and I still had to rewind multiple times in order to catch everything you were saying.

Thanks for taking the time to make this.

    Thanks for the feedback guys!
I'm going to get a better mic in a couple weeks (hopefully)! I can't increase input volume any more as-is or the white noise becomes noticeable. :(

In that case it might just be that you need to get closer to it, or even better to have a headset mounted mic so that you're always speaking at the same angle even when your head moves around.

Whenever I do raiding or boss fights with people in other games I can tell who has a headset mic and who has a table mic, because the people with table mic's have less consistent volume. It takes concentration to make sure that you're always facing a table mic at the right angle, whereas the headset mic does that work for you.

It's ok. I'm debating whether or not to get a desk mounted one, or get a better headset
