    I wanted to know if the Advisior Bow master Sohrab also counts with the Persian war wagons .

    Nope. War Wagons are Siege unit, not Ranged. To find out what type of unit you're using, you can simply hover over its icon when you have it selected, like this example below:

    As you can see, it says "Type: Siege" :)
